We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Mentorship Program! This program will pair experienced members with those eager to learn, creating a supportive network for professional and personal development. We believe this initiative will not only strengthen our team but also empower individuals to reach their full potential.

Purpose

The Mentorship Program, a key initiative from our Strategic Plan, aims to foster a culture of growth by offering informal, non-technical guidance to our community.

Format

Voluntary program with a minimum one-year commitment where experienced mentors are paired with protégés within the same scope of work.

Admistration

All discussions are confidential between the Mentor and Protégé to encourage honest dialogue. The program’s administration is overseen by the Mentorship Coordinator, who serves as the primary point of contact for any inquiries

Goal

Our goal is to create a dynamic learning environment where experienced members can pass on valuable insights, and newer members can gain perspective and guidance.

Mentors

Participation as a mentor is open to community members with significant service and experience in their field. The committee selects mentors based on their experience, ability to explain concepts, schedule availability, interpersonal skills, and dedication. A minimum one-year commitment is required. We deeply appreciate this dedication to guiding others.

Protégés

Involvement as a protégé in this program is strictly voluntary and is open to any member of our community. Protégé candidates should be open to change, exploring possibilities, helping others, and learning from others. Candidates are expected to be committed to meeting with their mentor on a regular basis for at least one year to get as much as possible out of the Program.

The program is designed to foster continuous development; therefore, a protégé can also become a mentor to another protégé, contributing to a cycle of shared learning and leadership within our community.
