May Alkhalaf
May Alkhalaf is an IT (Information Technology) professional. She currently works at Dexcom Inc., in San Diego, as a Staff Systems Business Analyst. May holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Baghdad, Iraq. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from ITI, Ottawa, Canada. May received a “Distinguished Performance Award” for a strategic business initiative in 2012 from Acushent Company.
In 2016 May May was one of the organizers of the “Spirit of Syria”, a non-profit cultural event dedicated to raising funds to support the Syrian refugees in San Diego. May is also a volunteer at the Bread of Life Rescue Mission which focuses on serving the poor, hungry and homeless. May enjoys event planning and organized successful Mother’s Day events for three consecutive years. The event also served as an opportunity to help the young ladies who are starting new business to network and promote their business.
